Fiat Professional 

The first Fiat light commercial vehicle was manufactured in 1903 and from that moment, this segment has become increasingly important. Thanks to a vast range of products and the capacity to respond to the varied needs of the transportation sector, the Fiat Professional brand has attained a leadership role in its field.

The facts confirm this: in 2007 the brand held a share of over 42.1% of the Italian market and 11.7% of the European market. It has experienced continual growth on a global scale which has seen the brand move from selling 163 thousand units in 2000 to almost 388 thousand in 2007.

Fiat Ducato, the lead model of the product range and the top choice in Europe, played a major role in attaining these results. Meanwhile, the Fiat Scudo was recently elected “2008 Van of the Year”, a prestigious industry award.

Strengthened by these successes, Fiat Professional continues to consolidate its leadership position, updating its range of models (the new Fiorino was presented in December 2007) and setting ambitious objectives like reaching the sale of 500-thousand vehicles world-wide by 2010.
