Steyr has been a leader in tractor manufacturing in Austria for 60 years. The red and white trademark was created in 1967 with the launch of the Plus line and today it is synonymous with high-quality, reliable products.
The company manufactures tractors for the so-called “premium” segment and boasts a 20 per cent share of the European market. In fact, Steyr exports 60 per cent of its production: the main importers are Germany, Switzerland, France and the Benelux countries. Sales in Scandinavia and southern and eastern Europe are also on the rise.
Nineteen different tractor models are manufactured at the St. Valentin plant, in Austria, where significant investments have recently been made. The Steyr Kompakt, 9000MT and Profi versions of the 80 series, as well as the CVT range of products, particularly testify to the Company’s ability to rapidly respond to the ever-changing market needs.
