“La Stampa” is one of the most famous, widely distributed and respected daily newspapers in Italy. Established in Turin in 1867 under the name “Gazetta Piemontese”, it has become an important player on the national and international news scene with an average circulation of 400,000 copies a day.
The daily is put together in Turin and printed in five locations in Italy, one of which is owned by the paper. The main editorial office in the Piedmontese capital is buttressed by correspondents in Rome, Milan, New York, Paris and Brussels. Other offices are located in the provincial capitals, and in the Liguria and Aosta Valley regions.
Recently, “La Stampa” has undergone an upgrade, with improved graphics and content, a more compact format, and added colour. At the same time, the internet site has been updated with graphics that reflect those of the newspaper, and the addition of new content and interactive services for the readers.
