The Fiat Group has been operating in the publishing business since 1926 when it formed the La Stampa publishing house for the Turin daily newspaper, founded in 1867. In 1980 Itedi (Italiana Edizioni S.p.a.) was founded to regroup all the publishing and communication activities of the Group which, until then, had been carried out by 14 different companies. Today, the Company performs its publishing activities through Editrice La Stampa S.p.a. and works in the advertising sector through Publikompass S.p.a.
