The Company was formed in 1975 through the merger of five renowned European brands and it operates in over 100 countries through its dealer network, joint ventures, licenses and equity investments. It is also present in areas with a high growth potential such as China and South America.
The Iveco production sites apply the most advanced technology not only to manufacture top-quality products but also to ensure work sites that are on a human scale. For this reason, the majority of the plants have obtained a certificate of quality for their management procedures and environmental protection.
Iveco gives priority to both product and method innovation. The main themes are common to the development plans at the Group level and run along three main principles: initiatives promoting product and methodology innovation, and research projects upheld by the European Union.
